18-wheeler loses load, pipes spread across SH-225 at I-610 exit ramp, images show

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- All the lanes are back open on the East Loop after an 18-wheeler overturned and lost its load on Highway 255 on Tuesday morning.

SkyEye13 was over the highway, where the truck and its load of pipes blocked multiple outbound lanes. Wider images show traffic backups for miles.

It's unclear what led to the incident or if anyone was injured.

As of 3 p.m., all of the lanes are reopened, and the scene is cleared, according to Houston TranStar.
